Nomadic Knits (1 June)
Issue 2: NY, December 2018
Themes: Think Upstate NY in the fall; cozy sweaters, hats, scarves, cowls, shawls, gloves/mittens, socks. Think Rhinebeck sweaters with clean lines, texture, casual with a hint towards rustic. Think pumpkin picking on a crisp fall day, then cozying up in front of the fire with a hot cup of tea. Cables and Fair Isle are welcomed and encouraged, as are all knitting skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

They are accepting both garment and accessory designs. Their theme is inspired by Japan, and should utilize the specified Brooklyn Tweed yarn (ranges from lace to worsted weight).

Interweave Knits (5 June)
For the Summer 2019 issue of Interweave Knits, we are looking for women’s and men’s garments, accessories, and home décor celebrating summer living from coast to coast. Pull inspiration from any region of the United States.

For the Spring 2019 issue of Interweave Crochet, we are looking for innovative and playful designs to bring on spring.

Interweave – Book feat Plant Based Yarns (8 June)
Interweave is accepting submissions for a BOOK to be published Spring 2019. More and more companies are releasing new yarns made with plant-based fibers. The properties of these fibers are unique, naturally. They don’t behave the same way wool does. So the approach to knitting with them and the types of projects you choose to make needs to shift to suit them.
This designer collection will include:
• 20 projects in a range of difficulty from beginner to intermediate level, from small accessories to full size garments.
• Projects will include a range of techniques: cables, lace, slip stitch, and more.

Knit Picks – Outdoor Wear (11 June)
Knit Picks is looking for designs for a 12-16 pattern collection to be released in early 2019, featuring outdoor wear. Knit Picks has chosen yarns & color palette for this collection, please see our mood board for list of yarns and inspirational images as well as colors we intend to use. For this particular collection, we are looking for knit patterns for woman and/or unisex.
Deadline: June 11
Knit Picks – Cozy Stay-at-Home Projects (11 June)
Knit Picks is looking for designs for a 12-16 pattern collection to be released in early 2019, featuring cozy stay at home projects. Knit Picks has chosen yarns & color palette for this collection, please see our mood board for list of yarns and inspirational images as well as colors we intend to use. Please note this mood board is 2 pages. For this particular collection, we are looking for knit patterns for woman and/or unisex.
